What Would Jesus Do? 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. I often wonder, why do people I love and care about have to suffer in or through so much. I wonder why my Lord and Savior, Jesus, allows their pain to go on. I am convinced that with a word or a touch Jesus could heal them in an instant. So why doesnt He. This verse offers insight. Jesus not only heals, He comforts us. He is there when we are quite sure we can take no more, with a whisper, you remind us you are there. As we are comforted By Him, we are the able to comfort others, For Him. Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. I always comes back to this, all things have been created through him and for him. Although I do not understand, I know that Jesus does. Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,So are My ways higher than your waysAnd My thoughts than your thoughts. Look around when you are in pain, depressed or just plain done. There is probably some one nearby that you might give the comfort of Christ to. I bet it eases your troubles as well. What Would Jesus Do?
