What a BRILLIANT show we had yesterday! Fantastic effort from everyone. I think it was easily our best yet. Clear winners of the competition for best act was the TARANTELLA who stole the show! Well done girls! (dont forget it as we are performing it another two times next year!) Watch out for an email coming your way with details of your prize! I have to say a huge thanks to the following people : Tammy Godden for transforming our show with her beautiful and inspired costumes. She has worked tirelessly for us for the past week. (Check out her site to find more of her beautiful creations Tamard Designs) Sheree, Sonia and Tilly who worked solidly without any complaint for roughly 8 hours straight yesterday. These people made the show possible yesterday. Without them I simply would not have had a show, and I could not run this business. Laila for coming all the way and sitting patiently all day through the rehearsals playing the music over and over again without complaint! Sara, Natasha Cronshaw, Ms Furr, Mrs Hinds, Sally Bedeau, and Emma Lopez for helping to transform the (very green) gym into such a beautiful theatre for our recital and looking after the children for so long, and their continued enthusiasm, hard work and unending support they bring to the school. Sam lebihan for her hard work with the contemporary group and her hard work backstage with the little girls! Ros Paine, Tillys mum and Suzanne for their efforts in the cafe including icing the cakes so superbly and giving us all such a delicious tea after the recital! Christina Moore, for being my general dogs body and also Chris (her husband) for giving up his day to photograph our day. Mr Lopez for his secret christmassy duties involving a rather large beard and costume!!! Iestyn Pettigrew (my husband) and my family for putting up with me during the last week. It was hell but now its christmas and I am all yours!!! and finally Callie Roberts for putting all the students hair up for the day and working so hard backstage! We cant wait to see what you will produce NEXT year!!! I am sure I have forgotten so many people as everyone went out of their way to make this recital so wonderful. It really was very very special and I will never forget it. Wishing you all a very happy christmas and new year!
