What a adventure that was going around the sea wall with dawn and our diesel, we got stop by this couple, who asked us do we know the owner of the 2 spaniels that were trapped on a sandbank as the tide was comming in fast, there was no owners abt, as the tide came in, the dogs made a dash into the water to get to where we were, we shouted, whistled and clapped hands to get there attention to come towards us, the three of us then went down on to the rocks to retrieve the dogs, I managed to get one, but the other seemed to be struggling and was some distance from us, we managed to get one dog out of the water and somehow I managed to hold onto it as I climbed back up the rocks, the coastguard arrived and asked us, were they our dogs we said no, he then thought he knew who they belonged to and sped off, meanwhile another guy came and managed to get the other dog to the rocks but couldnt get back up, so I went down got the dog and he managed to get back up, both dogs looked under weight, coastguard then came back and asked us as the owner turned up, we said no sign, he then went off with dogs, hopefully there are both ok now, we then carried on with our walk.
