What a beautiful Prayer! Lord, I lift my friend to You. I am so thankful that we are friends. You created her beautifully; for she is fearfully, wonderfully made in Your image. The detail you added to her character and spirit shines with the work of Your hands. Thank You for how You thought of her, planned her, before You laid the foundation of the world. Thank You that as You moulded and formed her within her mother’s womb, You smiled with joy at Your creation. I thank You for her smile and sensitive heart. I praise You for her uniqueness; her gifts made specifically for her purpose for Your Kingdom. Thank You that Your plan for her life, is for her welfare, future, and hope. I look to You today and ask please meet with her in a powerful way. May she come to know how valuable she is in Your eyes. When she is hurting, please comfort her. When she is weary, please bring her rest. May she always receive kindness and gentleness. When things feel ever changing, may she remember that You remain the same. May she face tomorrow with a smile for You are there. When she feels spiritually dry, may she be nourished in Your Word. When she is worried, please remind her that her future is safe within Your hands. When she is in pain, please carry her tenderly within Your healing love. For the moments she feels overwhelmed, please help her to be still in Your presence. When she is isn’t sure what to do, please lead her with Your truth along Your path of life. When she cries, please kiss away her tears of sadness. Please help her take one day at a time; so that she notices the gifts You have blessed her with. When she is tempted to do things in her strength, please remind her to turn to You for all that she needs. When she wakes to the gift of a new day, may she make time with You her priority. During the times she feels alone, may she be aware of her everlasting connection with You. When many voices scream for her attention, may she hear Your voice calling her name through the crowd. When she feels lost in darkness, may she be always aware of Your inextinguishable light. When she feels hope slipping away, please encourage her heart. Please draw those who love You, to be near her side. Please keep away those who wish her harm. Protect her from the fiery arrows of Your enemy. Shelter her in Your Sanctuary, where joy remains forever. When she is unable to lift her head, please equip her and support her. When she feels low, please remind her that You are the Lover of her Soul. Please cut away the chains that tie her to her temporary home. When her faith is tested, may she place her trust in You. When she is tempted to look back, please take hold of her hand. May she always have friends to love and treasure her. May her family treat her well. May Your peace reside within her spirit. May she grow and blossom as a flourishing tree. May all that she plants for You, be harvested with great joy. May she grow in confidence of who she is in Christ. Please grant her heart’s desires. May she see success in her work. May she stand firm on Your unmoveable foundation of truth. I thank You and praise You for the gift of my friend. In Jesus’ name Amen
