What a beautiful time of the year here. Pleasant and not too cold. Had a wonderful time visiting Montmartre and looking at the city of lights in panorama. Street artists and interesting people abound. Then lunch with my friend Alex. A bavette daloyau, tender and medium rare. The highlight was Pere Lachaise, surprising me for its beauty. So an afternoon with the dead, had a fag with Jim Morrison there. And a wink at the guy who cracked Hieroglyph (he had a obelisk as his tomb) and ofcourse Oscar Wilde and the man who brought potatoes to Europe. A gem and a rare place on earth. The day ended at Seine at the harbour end. Staying at a place where a famous actress lived. Her name was Mademoiselle Mars. Beautiful lights. Beautiful city.
