What a busy weekend. Love and best to Karen for coming over and staying with her mom which freed me up for a few hours. Music from Charma in a great setting in Slough, good time with Bob Thompson at the General (full house) and travelled to the Midlands to visit Watford Gap kennels to see Brett. Too many miles for me to drive in one day ever again, so hotel / B&B def the way to go in future. Karaoke was great on Sunday evening at the General, well attended and consideration to most of the singers. Shame one or two of my friends couldnt get there from Northwood, as no tubes were running on either Metro OR Picadilly lines. Fancy LU knocking both lines out for works at the same time! And all weekend to boot. Looking forward to having the next few days off work. Quiet drink with karaoke backing on Thursday. Great music next Friday and Brett making his GB debut at Hall Green on Saturday. Here we go again. Thanks for all of the calls. Gerry has another full body CT scan on Monday 28.
