What a busy year it’s been for Burning Condors. The London - TopicsExpress

What a busy year it’s been for Burning Condors. The London quartet have been releasing single after single after single after 7” after single after album – all of which I’m fairly sure we’ve covered – but these guys return with brand new single Last Train Home. This track features an instrumentation that embraces the band’s Nashville surroundings while lyrically referencing closer to home, and all manner of nods towards Britpop and country music it’s a wonder why Burning Condors aren’t the band constantly on your mind right now. Opening with a bluegrass-style lead lick and country vibe-riffs Last Train Home is a brilliant listen. Its continuous frantic tempo, catchy vocal hooks and equally engaging backing vocals certainly makes it easy to see why Burning Condors have become one of our favourite bands to emerge this year. B-side Gambling Hearts sees the band attempt a more layered production and it certainly succeeds at sounding freakin’ awesome. It’s like something that could be heard in Kill Bill or Pulp Fiction or Django Unchained or whatever else Quentin Tarantino does in his spare time. It’s like the perfect outlaw song. John Marston would be proud. Check out Last Train Home below, and enjoy. - Elusive Little Comments elusivelittlecomments.co.uk/2013/10/burning-condors-last-train-home.html?m=1
