What a coincidence... this is the same answer that Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Michio Kaku, Alex Filippenko, and a host of other scientists give. Personally I cant believe that they even use the term paradox since it makes perfect sense to me. Is there a very high chance of life in space? ummm, yeah! Is it happening right now? most likely. Is it happening within range of our communications? probably not (yet). Are they looking for life in space? some must be. Are they using communication methods that we would recognize? Lets hope so.
