What a crazy day!! I have heard that rats can come up the pipeline from the toilet and usually keep the toilet lids down. You see, twenty something years ago shortly after we moved into our house a rat managed to get into the kids toilet but the lid was down so it was flushed. Well, on Saturday night I did not put the toilet lid down at the store and lo and behold...a rat climbed out of the toilet and had a party in the work bathroom. I was stunned. It was trapped there. I called my dad who casually states "just beat it to death with a stick." Sure dad. In another lifetime but not now. I called my landlord who came and killed it. He said it was a big strong rat. Sure it was. It jumped on my sink and made a mess of everything in there. Tomorrow I have to sterilize the place. Eww.... KEEP YOUR TOILET LIDS DOWN!!! What are the odds twice in twenty or so years? Ewww....
