What a day - took wolkentana and whispering serenade (thats mum wacky and foal myrtle at home!) to the Oldenburg foal registration tour - myrtle couldnt be passported without being seen by an Oldenburg panel from Germany (!?!) So they thought wacky was a very nice mare, so shes on their stud book now, and myrtle got her premium. It was a bit of a nightmare, was told the grading in llandeilo wasnt now happening and would be in Llanelli at 2 pm, so went there only to find out they were going to llandeilo (much closer for me!) and wouldnt be in Llanelli until 6pm!!! It took us half an hour to load them both, myrtle panicked and managed to get away, cue mummy panicking and squishing poor Jenni Evans! In reality we had hours to spare! Poor myrtle looked dead on her feet by the time we had to show her, didnt even flinch when they micro-chipped her stood in the middle of an open yard!! And apparently all of that is going to cost me between €500-700!! I chose not to have her branded, think shed been through enough poor baby!! Thank you Rhiannon Jones for coming with me and helping pick her proper name, and jenni and Elizabeth Elander (and parents) to get the girls in!! Stressful!!
