What a day I have had so far. I went back to Lowes to return - TopicsExpress

What a day I have had so far. I went back to Lowes to return some 10 gallon tubs that had cracks on the side. These have a lifetime warranty. The service lady would not let me return them without a receipt. I told her I had returned some in the past without a receipt because of the warranty. So I went all the way back home to get the receipt. Then she told me I cannot still return them because it was over a year old. GRRRRR. I pointed out to her their policy of you can only exchange when a receipt is not present which is exactly what I was wanting. I need the tubs. I then say she was nothing but trouble and asked for the store manager. She gets me a dept manager. Oh I am sorry mam perhaps you did not hear me I wanted the store manager She stated the dept manager can help me. Again I asked for the store manager. What do you want him for she states? Are you kidding me!!!!!! Again I ask for the store manager. She says well I am not sure if the manager is here today. GRRRR! Well you wont know until you pick up the phone to ask will you I said. So finally the store manager comes up and he says to give me the exchange. She starts to argue with him that my receipt is a year old and he says so what give him the exchange. So then she tells me to go to the hardware desk and they can help me get the tubs. so I go to the desk and two workers are standing right next to the desk and I ask which one of them is working the desk. Their response was What desk Again are you fricking kidding me! I said this one that were standing right next to. Then one of them says yes I can help you. I have never had had such bad service there before. After she helped me I again asked for the store manager to explain the very poor service I received. I finally got out of there after two hours and there was not even a line of people. This is only one part of my morning.
