What a day... Im back in Lamar (Prowers County) after a wonderful exit to enjoy family for Christmas. Regardless of ridiculous cold and even more ridiculous wind chills, Nature beckoned.... and paid off SOO nicely... one of my favorites from today... This beautiful little Brown Thrasher...was awaiting his turn (zillions of Robins were hogging the fountain) for a tiny watering hole that was the ONLY spot on Willow Creek to get a drink...Normally VERY skittish and determined to hide in the brush, this guy was sitting BOLDLY in plain sight!
