What a day!! Iron died so I had to curtail piecing a quilt top. Decided to go to store now that streets are clear for some necessities (milk, bread, wine, etc). But alack car wouldnt start. So flagged down neighbor walking his Newfoundland with his SUV (lash on mirror). Jumped started my 10-yr old Malibu and headed off. Prudently stopped at Big-O to ck on battery. Found it was only at 25% of normal. Didnt need that expense so close to holidays. But do need car to start at appropriate times. Hoping this is the end on my New Years Cheer. How is everyone else doing?
