What a day!! (Updates in order of pictures) DEVIN so getting SO big! Look at him, hes a teen now! I had so much fun playing with our little man & some of his new toys. He REALLY likes things that jingle, things with feathers, and now catnip! He is too cute for words. I still have to go through the videos but Ill have one for you in the morning. Such a happy little cat. Just amazing! EDEN & ALILE did great today for their spays. They are home from the vet, have had their dinner and pain meds and are getting some rest. The countdown begins until their adoptions are final!! Im so proud of these girls. They were a mess when they came to us but they are doing so well now. Their moms are going to love them to pieces. DOT has moved from her tiny infant space to her big girl spot where she has a tiny litter box and were working on introducing food. So far, all she will do is smell the food but were hopeful that shell try it out soon. She still spends most of her time cuddling with her elephant but shes starting to play a little too. Shes getting a personality all her own! And of course, she still likes to stick her tongue out. So cute! GWEN seems to be getting worse instead of better. Her eye is clearing up some and shes putting on weight but shes come down with a full blown Upper Respiratory Infection. She got some antibiotics today and it looks like its time to pull out the humidifiers again. Wed just put them away after Pippa! GAVIN is doing great. His eyes are all clear and hes pretty heavy now. So far, hes escaped his sisters URI and is so playful & lots of fun. Hes just a little doll. KAMILLA didnt know where her friends had gone this morning when Eden & Alile left for the vet. She had so much fun during their sleepover and Alile finally started playing back. But now the girls have to rest up from their surgery so Kamilla is having to play with the bigger cats. She doesnt mind too much. Shell play with anyone! PIPPA had a nice bath because shes the messiest eater on the planet and she had an accident in her carrier on her way to the new foster. But shes back as beautiful and clean smelling as ever. ARIELA - our newest Angel is heartbreaking. I knew her story already but seeing her makes it so much worse. Half of her lovely hair is shaved off and it really shows how skinny she is. Her leg is very infected. She had emergency surgery today to try and get some of the infected parts out but shes still in danger. Please keep her in your thoughts. Shes so sweet and its so awful.
