What a day this has been. I wouldn’t have missed it for the - TopicsExpress

What a day this has been. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world – but Dear Gussie. Again ; technology and me at it’s finest. 14 forms later; completed and emailed back to the sender. Thank Goodness that I could type in the information on the form, and save it from there. It was a matter of getting the computer to cooperate with where I was wanting to type, and accept the dates in the proper format. I was able to use a site generated signature from the format and place it on the line; as long as I saved it the right way and with the right click before it disappeared. I was just amazed at seeing my signature float across the screen and land on the dotted line I couldn’t help but laugh and then realize that there is no hope for me once again as I called my parents to get some SSN information. After trying to get this from my mother and being given instead ; their phone number, the last four digits as opposed to the complete number, putting me on hold while she went from one room to the next – we both were so caught up in giggles and Mother apologizing for what I had to look forward to. Dear Gussie; you gotta laugh though right?? We are who we are and I am so my mother’s child, as becomes more clear to me daily. My shoulders were in a burning knot from sitting in the same position for a few hours. Copy and paste could have been such a helpful delight if the application had everything been in the same format. However, I have to say that despite the roller coaster rides here and there; the continual repeated patterns in trial and error and realizing I had completed the same forms twice – well it’s been a dandy day after all. Hoping for a very happy ending for some that I am cheering on from afar; thrilled at the thought of getting information from my bank for direct deposit once again. I almost forgot what that felt like While most have reached a point, where they count the minutes till the clock strikes it’s quitting time – I can’t wait to get started on this new journey of the “starting time” hour. I know there will be many hurdles and new things to learn and expectations and foreign territory of what I have not done before – but it’s ok – cause it’s gonna be “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can” all the way. My mistakes of the past will flourish as my stepping stones of today I was taken to Outback to just celebrate that I am almost official and had only the last step to go, which was an unexpected surprise. If I saw myself through Bear’s eyes –I would be strutting my stuff every minute of every day; but I guess it’s a good thing I don’t. Ego and/or arrogance has never been my thing or a quality I admire in others. I will just keep on enjoying seeing the sparkle in his eyes and the smile from having a girl like me in his life. Who knew????? Sweet Dreams FB world. I hope your days have been beyond measure and those hurdles – don’t let them weigh you down. As a very wise and rather likable young man told me tonight in a conversation – what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. AMEN to that and for the opportunity to become no less!!!
