What a day yesterday at the first annual Battle of the Boyne championship held at Boyneside Strength. Fantasticly run event with some amazing lifters on show hitting some scary numbers!! Personally I had a brilliant time. Took first place in 75kg class hitting 3 competition pbs in each of my lifts. Went 3/3 in my squats finishing with 210kg , Got 2/3 on bench finishing with 127.5kg Got 2/3 in the deadlift, finishing with 245kg. Marie Walker also did excellent. The fact that she even able to focus at all given the last few days shows serious mental strength. Videos to follow.
