What a difference a week and a bit of rain make. Last week it was hot and as dry as a Nuns Nasty. All the animals were hiding, waiting. The plants and trees where struggling and the water tanks were nearly empty. A week later, we have had 48mm of rain and the place is alive. All the ants are sprouting new growth, the grass has turned green, the animals have become active, we are getting 6-7 snakes a night at sunset, the termites are all sending out new queens to start new colonys (flying ants), the cicadas are deafening, animals everywhere, there is some water going into the tanks and the humidity has gone through the roof. Undara has come alive again...
