What a difference a week can make. Left last Saturday for our beach vacation, only to find out a day later that our son, Bryan, was admitted to ICU, very seriously ill. Packed up and came home; he was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer, and had lost a great deal of blood. Thank God, after 4 days in ICU, he is now recovering at home, though he has a long way to go. Also this week, we learned that two people who had touched our lives had passed away. One of them is a young man the same age as Bryan. Our hearts ache for their families, especially for Tims mom, who is not as lucky as I. My son is home, and my worry is lessening, while her anguish will never end. Please pray for these families, for strength and eventual peace; and for Bryan, for a speedy and complete recovery. Counting my blessings.....
