What a difference a week makes. There was me boasting about our wonderful weather when winter decides to strike early. We are now in the grip of an icy wind spreading down into the med from central Russia. Last night we were down to 5C. That is the sort of weather we expect in January and February. Hope it picks up for Thursday which is our walking day. Last week we went to Orihuela. We were a bit restricted to where we could go as we took a man with us who is confined to a wheelchair. Luckily most of the city is wheelchair friendly and we managed to visit the Cathedral and an Augustan Monastery before heading out of the city for lunch.
