What a fabulous High Holy Days 5775 it was at Temple Emanuel! We came home through the rotunda and brought in the New Year with passion, prayer, and lots of love. I am so blessed to be a part of such a beautiful community, a true family of families. It couldnt have happened without so many dedicated and talented individuals working together. Thanks to: our president Michael Schorr for his moving and inspirational message and to our executive board for your visionary leadership; to my amazing clergy partners Rabbi Jerry David and Cantor Neil Schnitzer for your friendship and partnership each and every day; to our maestro Murray Savar for his gifts, talent, and creativity; to our executive director Marc Rothstein, our Director of Membership Tracey Weiss, and our amazing office staff Roberta Love Budman and Holly Beyer Friedman for all of your hard work and support; and to Robin Rubin-Miller, our ritual committee and our ushers for ensuring that everything ran smoothly. A special thanks to my friend Dr. David Chasen, and Gail Forman, for leading an amazingly successful Gift of Life Bone Marrow Drive, swabbing 150 people to help save lives. Most importantly, thanks to our beautiful congregation for being who you are each and every day.
