What a fantastic day , I hope everybody is having one too? I was out and about fencing today and popped into my local High Road Hotel for a feed and who did I bump in to? Freeman of the City of Canning, Dr Michael Lekias who was the Mayor of Canning between 1992 and 2008. Dr Lekias plucked me from my Mum March 24th 1964 with forceps and apparently my head swelled to the size it is now LOL. It was the first time I had ever met Dr Lekias after 50 years+ and what a wonderful warm articulate and friendly man he is. I suggested we catch up again to chew the fat as I have so much to learn about Rossmoyne and my local area I am unaware of so far. Im still on cloud 9, what a good day!
