What a fiasco is the AFL how can the Essendon club be allowed to negotiate a penalty. They were wrong and should have been penalised accordingly and severely for that, those involved removed from the game permanently. It should be noted that the ASADA report is yet to come and it could be that many of those players still face a 2 year ban for failing drug tests. AFL is at an all time low. If any of the supplements have left residue of banned substances then there may be no players left there to play. This was a management regime that put its own players at risk in their health and also their playing careers, how would the families of these young players feel today. The penalties were tough but not tough enough to send a final message to all in the game.
