What a funny couple of days. We relaxed intensely if that makes sense, hired jet skis from which Blayne and I were thrown and are now nursing sore ribs, went to go to the market where we came across a terrible accident where an Englishman got hit by/thrown off a motorbike and sustained some serious head injuries. To prevent him being thrown around like a sack of potatoes by the amboswe assisted and nearly lost Em to the back of the ambulance. Made us very conscious of taking care and travelling in pairs as there was no way of contacting anyone for this poor fellow to whom we are now notifiable contacts. Have enjoyed snorkelling, fine food and beautiful people. Managed to lose my glasses at the beach this morning watching the sunrise, did exactly the same thing on a hill top in New Zealand a couple of years ago. Am going to have to stop taking new glasses to watch sunrises on holidays from now on. While we have been away many friends at home have been and are( 4 today in fact) celebrating birthdays. So a big happy birthday to everyone. No surprise how people have celebrated Christmas over the years!!! Looking forward to heading back to siem reap and then kampong kdei tonight. I know that is where you will all look forward to the updates. We are well rested and ready for work.
