What a great Opening Day weekend! I want to thank all the players, parents, grandparents and friends that joined us for the celebration, and for patronizing the sponsors of our League! Additionally, I would like to thank Mike Mooney (Opening Story), James Vogel (Audio Production), Rocklin Baton Team, Tony Asaro (Special Speaker), Abby Alexander (National Anthem) and the ROTC Color Guard for assisting with the festivities. Next, it was a great pleasure to have all our Past Presidents in attendance -- they set the stage for where we are as an organization today. Thank you Justin Velez, Carrie Durgarian, Kevin McCormick, Joe Asaro, Eric Hanson, Randall May, Mike Leeper and Jay Lutz. Next to our local dignitaries that were able to join in - Scott Yuill (Major), DIana Ruslin (City Council), Nancy Hartwell and Ken Broadway (Park/Rec Commission), Steve Smith (D11 DA), Kevin Smith, Rachell Smith, Terry Bonnin and Dennis Christmon (D11 staff) -- thank you for being there! Last but not least, I would like to thank our Board of Directors for the last 5 months of planning it took to be ready for opening day. Most importantly to Joe Zorio for his amazing efforts with planning and managing the event! Great job to all! Lets play some ball! Looking forward to see you at the ballpark!
