What a great day. 3 hours in hospital, eventually seen by an ambulance paramedic due to staff shortages... Followed by a late appointment with a 24 year old locum at my home surgery. 3 needles, fluid removed and a restrictive duties certificate saying that I cant drive but I can work. Great. Heaven help anyone in Somerset who need the NHS. How, for f*ck sake can you do a restrictive normal days work when you have to drive 73 miles to get there to start with????? Am I missing something here?? Or just dealing with idiots!!! Rant over - for your own safety keep off of the northbound M5 after 06:45 am
