What a great day I have had today. Today I was elected to be a member of the board of the Weight Reduction Clubs of Queensland. This was previously known as Weight Watchers Clubs of Queensland but in 1996 we were forced to change our name because of Weight Watchers International. Any how what is in a name. I am also the President of the Deception Bay Weight Reduction Club. Now I will have to toe the line and really go all out to set an example to all the members of this organisation. I really know how hard it is to cope with being overweight and I can really identify with all our members who struggle weekly to make a difference in their lives. I could say wish me luck but luck has nothing to do with it. Instead just wish for me to stay focused. I hope that as a Board Member I can serve the members of this organisation with dedication and enthusiasm.
