What a great film! I truly enjoyed it. Alternative history buffs will especially love it. Its the early 1960s, and in Greater Germania Rutger Hauer is a local police investigator (all police are under the Gestapo). His job is to solve crimes...and hes good at it. Hes not real big on the direction his nation is headed and how his son is being brainwashed. He tries to do his job correctly but is a man of his own, and a man with a conscience. There is one huge crime which has been hidden from public since the start of WWII..all those Jewish deaths. The only people with info on it are being taken-out, one by one, by the Gestapo.
