What a great morning for a bird walk and outdoor pancake breakfast at Silver Saddle Ranch, Carson City. A fun group of birders followed me along the Carson River riparian corridor this morning. Bird diversity was low and the resident species were pretty quiet but it was beautiful!! Breakfast was ready for us when we got back to the ranch. Lots of fun conversation with Friends of Silver Saddle Ranch and Lahontan Audubon members, and community members from Carson City, Dayton and Reno! Thanks to all the board members and Patsy for setting up, preparing the food and cleaning up after. Not sure who to thank but all of the ten bluebird nest boxes were stained and are now ready for installation. Yay!! I cant say enough about the fun group of people that came out to enjoy the morning with us. We appreciate your participation and hope to see you again soon!
