What a great turn out for work Saturday! We had about 50 dedicated volunteers come out to help us get the walls standing. Mission accomplished! Sunday, as expected we had fewer volunteers. We had about 15, on hand to get the walls verified and the roof trusses loaded, Installed most of the blocking, as well as moved materials into the container. We also got a couple trusses stood. That puts us right on schedule! This coming Saturday & Sunday our goal is to get the trusses standing, barge rafters and fascia installed, as well as start on roof decking, windows and siding. I know it will be hot out there, but we have ample quantities of neck coolers for everyone. A misting fan is also expected to be on site.
