What a great year 2014 has been for Mpumalanga. We kicked off with our first show and appraisal at Ermelo with their agricultural show in March where we had a total of 28 dogs entered for the show. And then we had an appraisal in Nelspruit, the very next week. In July we had another appraisal at a farm on the Klipstapel road. We had a total of 18 dogs appraised for the day. Then the BIG event: The Mpumalanga Regional show at Pienarsdam in Middelburg was in September, held with their Hartland agricultural show. We had 6 sponsors and the show was a big success with a total of 83 dogs entered. We ended the year with a last appraisal on the 16th Desember on the Hockey Farm between Middelburg and Witbank which was a busy day with a total of 39 dogs appraised in soaking wet conditions. - Our Regional Grand Champion Female is: Cabaret Miss USA (Owner: P Erwee of Eldorado) Reserved Champion Female: Tsidkenu Kara (Owner: A Grobler of Tsidkenu) - And Regional Grand Champion Male is: Afrika Mojo (Owner: K Greeff of Afrika ) Reserved Champion Male: Anderson Blade (Owner: Grant Davids) We appraised a total of 84 dogs for the year in Mpumalanga. Highest appraised Female and Male for any appraisal point held in Mpumalanga for the year is: -Female: Egoli Silvie with 90% (Owner: Elize Scholtz of Robust) -Male: Egoli Magnus I with 90.4% (Owner: Danie Scholtz of Egoli) So a big thank you to the appraisers, all Mpumalanga’s members as well as other region’s member for all you support. We hope that Mpumalanga wil only grow to be even bigger and better in 2015 as it did in 2014. Also wishing everyone an amazing 2015.
