What a man? A man who touched all sectors in his time- education, security, economy, commerce, roads, water, health, sports, judiciary, etc; A man who effectively linked the 177 communities in the state with roads and bridges (instead of just beautiifying the capital); A man who cleared all the debts of the state - salary arears, pension arears, contractors debts, owed grants and loans, etc and now maintains constant and timely payment of such and still boasts of huge savings for the state; A man who moved Anambra from home for all to the Light of the Nation - from a deserted state due to crimes to a state with both local and foreign investors and investments, donor agencies, etc; A man who changed the view of the state from no go area to a state that we today try to compare with other states; A man who returned schools back to original owners (the missionarie, now being copied by other governors) and still pays the teachers and builds the schools infrastructure without collecting penny; A man who introduced the development of world class hospitals via churches to augment the state owned health institutions; A man who built the University Teaching Hospital for the State Univerity, go it accreditated, gave subvention to private and church higher institutions to the tune of a 100 million with other amenities; A man who ensures that no worker receives less than N18,000 with many allowances and office packages, new secreatiat complex, new cars for senior staff, new buses for office runs, new buildings for trade unions; A man that attracted the federal government for several presidential visits, numerous FG projects and approvals, appointments, representations, etc; A man that changed the face of Onitsha, the bridge head, upper iweka and now Amawbia Roundabout to Amansea via special trust from the FG; A man whose good work, face and relationship earned numerous and historic legal victories, federal appointments, leadership in governors forums, headship of south east governors, etc; man whos has done alot that cant be exhausted here; A man whose humility has left with only Mr refusing all chieftaincy titles and honourary school awards, with all the Secondary School Prefects directly calling his phone lines... That man is rare! Yes!! Mr Peter Obi is of a rare species!!!
