What a night.. thank you so much to everyone of you who attended to show your support for all the fighters, as always the Derry support was unreal. We dont do half measures.. I am very proud if every single 1 of my fighters from Strike, win loose or draw no matter the decision, it takes some courage to step up to an event of that scale. Considering we have only been working and training together a year now we are all moving in the right direction and growing as a club together. Apologies if i have left anyone out but as you can see it takes a massive team of people working together to make these things work Special mention to my wee bro Brendan Magee who faught his heart out but was beaten by a strong opponant, Damien Duddy whos fighter pulled out last min, we will have you bk in the ring very soon. Noel morrison who had a brilliant fight with fellow derry fighter from evolve Gavin Kelly who took the fight on a few days notice.. Cian Kennedy on becoming junior irish champion.. Congrats to Brian Houston on his amatuer World title win, without doubt a spectacular athlete and champion well deserved. Final word to the latest champion in Strike and certainly not the last Eamon Deane. He has worked so hard all year and i couldnt be more happy for him, last night was his time to shine and show everyone what he is capable of and didnt he just, with a Controlled professional perfomance.
