What a special night at Riverbend in Lyons last night, the site where the flood took away 32 family homes that cannot be rebuilt in the floodplain. Kristin Andreassen and KC Groves and pile of wonderful Lyons musicians plus Béla Fleck and critter performed beneath the rock face in front of the River with several hundred community members sitting under the night sky sharing the music. I shed a tear when KC pronounced, The River is still our friend. Photos by Paul Rennix
