What a stressful afternoon/evening i have had. first, my kids driver tells me at 11am, he has to go to police station to make a report, shocked me asks why, then he tells me, the previous day, after he knocked off work, him and his nephew where beaten at linda compound and he had bruises all over his neck but his nephew was hospitalised. so i let him go to do his stuff, to my surprise, his sister calls me, Madam, we have no one to turn to, James was thrown in the cells and we dont know what to do. So i went to the police station, OMG, to find, the 6 guys who had beaten my driver and his nephew had paid off the police and to make the case impossible to open again, the police made the sister of my driver who couldnt speak english to sign Admission of Guilt form without explaining to her what she was signing and then to add more salt to the injury, those six guys are the ones who paid for the form to be signed. then the case was thrown out.. Questions after questions i asked following the instructions my lawyer gave me of cause, then we got central police involved and wow, linda police then started getting the seriousness of this matter.. a full report from the doctor ignored by the police, threats, abuse to my drivers family by police, LORD, WHO DO WE TURN TO FOR PROTECTION???? LUCKILY, CENTRAL POLICE HAS TAKEN THE MATTER SERIOUSLY AND NOW WE HAVE TWO CASES, ONE AGAIST POLICE AND THE OTHER AT THOSE 6 GUYS.. I want to thank our lovely friend/lawyer Mauyaneyi Marebesa for legally advising us other wise, we were hitting dead ends. WHERE IN AFRICA DO THEY NOT BRIBE????? AM MOVING THERE!!!!!!
