What a stunning hospital the London Spinal Cord Center is as it is called now though many people still call it its proper title the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital Stanmore today I met staff some I not seen in say four maybe even seven years yet like a lost brother they come over to have a chat and ask about you and how your going any problems and they then listen, it really shell shocks how so warm and so very friendly the hospital is in fact if I truthful frightening as it is so very genuine. Even the Matron spoke to me as like a lost friend she made my bed once when I was on the rehab ward she saw me making my bed as I did every morning even though I was told no need she was shocked to see me do a hospital corner on my sheets at the bottom when I explained what I had done and was she was not then shocked. She adores Guy even though she admits she is not a dog person this dog melts her whole heart as she said once you look at him he melts you. Guy is so well known through out the whole hospital and look at this again showing the deep warmth we went into Aspire the charity that helps disabled people well they have a cafeteria I was in the ward that joins this cafeteria and when I went to get our meal the owner said gosh where you been I not seen you in ages how long since you last dropped in on us here? I said at least a year and by the way I was on the ward seven years back he shook my hand and said you were the most bubbliest of patients I seen here , when we left he called out I will see you in another year I laughed and promised to return less than that unless she gets my insurance
