What a talented bunch of staff and students we have at Arohanui!! Our Taonga iti and Taonga Nui groups performed at the Interact Festival today - (check out the highlights video below) Being on stage can be a daunting experience but our students were awesome and we are all very proud! It was great to see so many families down at Corbans to cheer the students on. Our base school classes also celebrated Diwali today - The staff dressed up in Saris and lit candles and enjoyed sharing some of their culture and traditions - Diwali is an ancient Hindu festival celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and the renewal of life - Apologies for missing photos today - will post them on Monday !
