What a way to start Friday the 13th...at 3am this morning, we were awakened by a loud BANG and then a truck revving its engine, a pick up truck had ran through the stop sign and into the bean field between my house and our neighbors house. He got stuck and was trying to get unstuck. We called police. This driver had driven the total length of my yard through the field and was stuck by the back corner of our lot. The driver did manage to get unstuck, drove back through the field, then behind my neighbors house, through their yard and back onto the road. By this time, police were trying to stop him which they managed to do when he turned onto ST Rte 510 towards Clyde. I heard on the police scanner he was possibly intoxicated..(mmm. ya think??) So of course police had to come to our house, give us a report thing to fill out for damage to crop field (my dogs were barking like crazy) and I couldnt go back to sleep.
