What a weekend. Glasshouse mountain climbing trip, absolutely beautiful scenery, incredible wild life, the only climbing partner I could have needed for the trip and kick ass camping. Unfortunately it did have to come to an end on the second day, with me taking a fall of about 6meters, leg getting tangled in the rope and cracking my head on the rock face. 6cm long and down the the bone gash on the back of my head. Bruised bones in my are spine ribs neck and shoulders and deep and soft tissue damage in the same areas. I am fine though doctors said Im lucky to be alive and that they are very surprised I didnt die so that makes me feel good. But at the end of the day, was doin what I love and will continue to do so. #lifeofaclimber haha. Enjoy life people it can end very quickly :)
