What a weekend! Ive decided that its better for me to travel to Clarksville - its so much more relaxing and quiet. We dont really know anyone there and we arent involved in anything yet . . . I just go and catch up on sleep and . . . relax. Toms apartment takes about an hour to clean - I can usually find time in my busy weekend schedule to do that. Tom, however, cannot say the same when he comes home - poor guy. No relaxation for him. I had to work Friday night at Vinnys. We got up super early Saturday morning and hit the road with my mom - headed to the Iowa State Fair. I worked in the Touchstone Energy booth and Tom walked around the fair with my mom and my sister and her family. After that, we headed back home because I had to work at Vinnys Saturday night. Tom came up and had supper with Christy Cisna Ehrle and her husband Gary. We got up this morning and went to church and then went to Fort Dodge for a baby shower for Sarah Pliner Peters. Just came home and practiced for Kaitlin Reigelsbergers wedding and then Tom took off to head back to Clarksville. Holy crap - I need a nap! Its so nice to be in the same house with my Tom - hate it when he has to leave. But, it is what it is, and this is our life right now. Weve had a lot of lookers and interest in our house but no offers yet. You have to have lookers before you can have buyers. Right? We talked this afternoon about remodeling and how we could reconfigure and add on to our house. If it doesnt sell, I have a plan. Gotta have a plan. And, Im getting to be such a big girl - no tears when he left today! I choose to believe that everything works out just the way God intends for it to (work out). So, I will continue to read my wall sign - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I do not know what the future holds, but I do know who holds the future. I thank God for the hope He has given me and for the future He has planned for me.
