What a wonderful day it was to be out and about and so myself and young Cian boarded the number fourteen bus in Artane bound for Marley Park in Ballinteer and treated ourselves to a two hour walk of greens and woodland second to none in this beautiful city of hours. Until then and without much knowledge of this renowned park we always agreed that nothing would ever come close to challange St.Annes for its woodland, stables, rose gardens and now its recently opened Japanese garden. Well, today after long bus journeys to and fro we both agreed that Marley is more than a match for St. Annes and had no hesitation in agreeing that it was the better of the two by just a little more than a short margin. The river, the greens, the flowerbeds, the woodland and the backdrop of the Dublin mountains is breathtakingly beautiful.
