What a wonderful day on the campus at the U of A. Great tours of the campus, great lunch of barbecue, potato salad, baked beans, rolls and tea. Of course Big Al was there for lunch and as Big Al does he entertained us very well. Matt and all of the students there got a tour of the Mal Moore Sports complex (high light of the day for Matt) toured housing options on campus and they had breakout groups for parents discussing topics like scholarships and financial aid, housing, safety, foreign studies and first year experiences. Matt and the other students also participated in fun games and scavenger hunt. At the end of the day students participated in awards ceremony. Matt received a one year book scholarship for his freshman year. A great ending to a great day. Looking forward to becoming part of the University of Alabama family.
