What a word from the Lord preached by our Pastor this morning to start the New Year! Our theme this year is Entering and Experiencing Gods Best in 2015. Our first series is: The Believers Life. He shared with us that sometimes we short-change ourselves and miss out on what God has for us because we are too busy coveting the things that other people have. So, today, FB Family, the question for you, as a believer, is: Do you want everything that God has in store for you in 2015? If you answered YES, here are some of the things which our esteemed Pastor shared with us: The delightfulness of the believers life is divine in its meaning and in its measure because God has ordained for us great things NOW and if we truly acknowledge Him, exercise our faith in concert with the Word, greater is coming. The deficiency of the believers life involves the consequence and the cause of coming short. We are living in the wilderness; we can come out of Egypt, and go through the wilderness, but we cannot get into Canaan. Why? Because we have not mingled our faith with the Word we have heard...the two must go hand in hand. We have to believe that God is going to do what He says He is going to do. It is not enough to come to church and work in the ministry, yet do not really exercise our faith. Then, there is the diligence of the believers life which promises us a rest that is both available and attainable. In order to experience Gods best in 2015, we must exercise our faith in His Word and believe it beyond a shadow of a doubt, no matter what others might say.
