What a year it has been for the Edinburgh Napier Panthers - Napiers Cheerleading Team! Another 2 trophies to add to our growing collection :) Our first award was for Top Fundraisers, which we shared with the dance society! A big well done to Kirsty Baird for the success of Team Napier Strictly Come Dance: cheer and dance fundraiser! and of course a massive thank you to Jennifer Isabella Jamieson who has managed to raise over £750.00 over the year for the cheer team, coordinating events such as our ladies night, karaoke night, countless raffles and selling krispy cremes on campus, all of which paid for us to compete in our first ever competition! Our second award was for Most Improved Sports Team as this year we went from being part of the dance society to our very sports club...not to mention becoming a level 2 STUNT cheerleading team and competing in our first competition taking home a few trophies ;) Big thanks to all the girls for supporting me through the craaaazy first year and their commitment to the team :) a massive thanks to the amazing committee and the best VP Rona Thomson, we couldnt of done it without you! and also thank you to Joe Sandison who has had to deal with cheerleading chat 24/7 since last april when I became president! Such a supportive boyfriend, he even made our hair bows hahahahahahaha!!!
