What about Near Nature, Near Perfect as Spokanes slogan? Lily Tomlin made fun of it in a performance here several years ago -- making me feel super smart, since Id burst into laughter the first time I heard it. Although its not as bad as Missoulas slogan some years back (We Like It Here), its hard to believe such a fabulous city cant do better than this. My latest idea: Spokane-Do. Because this city, more than anywhere Ive ever lived, thrives on an optimistic, can-do attitude. Do you have a better idea for a Spokane slogan? Id love to hear it. Please post!
