What an Election Day! We came close to victory but were unable finish the night ahead. Last year at this time, I had not yet met most of the people who worked on my campaign. Knowing this and seeing how hard they worked to help us get across the finish line, makes me feel unbelievably blessed. They are quite simply the most impressive young political minds I have met. It was my honor to watch them create such a competitive campaign. I cant wait to see where they go from here and the rewards their abilities will bring to their communities. So many people dedicated their time and energy, words will never be adequate to describe my gratitude. To the voters who supported this first time candidate, I am honored to have had your support and your trust. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement along the way. It was a long road, thank you for taking it with me.
