What an absolutely short sighted report written by a bunch of morons. There is a need for one regulatory body to protect the interests of Paramedics in the province of Ontario. The interests of patients are being protected by the professionalism of Paramedics and the law. Who is protecting the Paramedic? I see a mass exodus of the more qualified Paramedics from Ontario if this backward way of thinking persists. MOH, LHINs, employers, doctors all have a vested interest in not having a college and I see their influence in the outcome of this report.
