What an amazing high level event today in Holland. Chris Edwards came out in the best position finishing in 9th Place from 63 judoka in the cadet u66kg category. Ollie Mathers produced two good victories in a tough category u73kg. Leon Mlo found the step up to cadet boys level very challenging in the u60kg, but this was a training opportunity for Leon who had won silver in the PreCadets on Saturday. Gleb Petrushkin had a very hard draw his first fight was very tough and only eventually lost on a shido. In the bronze rounds he eventually lost to the boy who went onto the final bronze bouts in a group if 63 judo in the -66kg class. Its been a great experience and all the boys have bonded so well with all the other clubs who joined this trip together. The support each other gave to one another is wonderful to hear and see and Im sure strong friendships have once again been formed and improved. Thanks everyone and well done on your efforts.
