What an exciting week for Baltimore!! Our Os have a great opportunity to win the grand prize, but we have to have some patience, dont wel...waiting for Game 1, which is still a few days off. Speaking of patience...for matters at the center of our lives... This weeks character quality is Patience - Accepting a difficult situation from GOD without giving HIM a deadline to remove it. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance..., character; and character, hope. (Romans 5:3-4). We all know about difficult situations in life. this weeks character quality involves two distinct decisions on our part. First, we must come to the place where we accept our difficult situation as coming from GOD. HE either sent it directly or, at the very least, allowed in our lives - always and only for our well-being. That is not an easy first step but it is essential. The second decision builds upon it. Since HE has allowed this situation in our lives - for HIS eternal value and our own good - HE has the power and will remove it at just the right time. Patience is when we really believe HE has allowed this difficult situation in our lives for our own good, and we can/will accept HIS timing to remove it. And as the saying goes...Please be patient, GOD isnt finished with me yet!
