What an exciting weekend!!! It started with the trailer coming off the hitch while I was driving down 44th. Sparks flying, trailer swaying, and raining but I managed to get it pulled over safely. A nice man stopped and helped Annette and I get it hooked back up. Some damage to my explorer but I feel lucky it was not worse. Needless to say all my finger nails are short now. We managed to get everything unloaded in the rain and as soon as we finish unloading it stopped raining. Lol! Saturday woke up at 6 to get my son to the bus for a wrestling tournament in Seneca. Shortly after that my husband calls and says hes being forced to work at the fire department. FYI- firefighters are underpaid, underappreciated, and their families make a lot of sacrifices. If youre ever considering a firefighter career come talk to me!!! This really put me in a jam as I have a son wrestling in Seneca, my daughter playing basketball at Soaring Heights, and Im supposed to work a craft show from 12 to 9. Im so thankful that Annette was understanding and able to help me out with the kiddos. This lady is tired and sore from loading and unloading the trailer and is taking most of the day off.
