What an incredible camp this year!! I felt the Holy Spirit in full force !!! I felt such love amongst Gods people!! God revealed himself in all kinds of ways from very young to very old!! I witnessed a little boy get out of his chair and run over and help another little one who had dropped his tray, not a second thought or a blink of an eye he was just there!!! That touched my heart soooo much!! I watched a team of exhausted kitchen workers be uplifted by wonderful people that stepped up to the plate when one of our team fell sick.. Not a complaint was uttered by anyone:)) What an example of Gods love!! I watched God do healing amongst his people!! Broken hearts mended ;harsh words squashed all through the love of our Father.. I watched and heard miracles happen right in front of my eyes and was humbled by a sweet violinist...I watched old friends unite and new friendships develop... Another year of New memories never to be forgotten!! I was truly blessed by the stories ,songs and a poem by our camp Gramma Horton.. she brings tears to my eyes when the love of God glows from her very soul!! I pray that I touched someones heart at camp and gave them something they will never forget!! The true blessing of love! I thank The Lord for placing angels with me as He once again took me to the alter where I cried another tear!! I watched The Lord bring wonderful people from everywhere, even as far as British Columbia , teaching us that the holy ground we worship on will always be there and that the hard work we put in every year is a reminder that he walks amongst us always and loves us unconditionally! All he asks is that we be obedient and love one another as he loves each of us!!! That amazing camp has been there since 1918 many have gone on to that beautiful place we all wait for and someday I hope my legacy will have touched those that come after me!! Thankyou Lord for hand picking me and loving me enough to allow me to witness Ivanhoe Holiness Camp!! and allowing me to share my gift of cooking with so many beautiful people!! I am truly blessed to have worked along side of so many amazing people!! all the Glory is for you my Heavenly Father Kim Rioux
